Altium find this to be a frequently asked question. The procedure to follow involves editing the Pins View spreadsheet within the component. If the component already exists within a library, select Component » Open. Click on the Library button and browse over to the library containing the component. A list of components within that library will be displayed within the dialog box. Select the component that needs to be modified from this list, and click on the OK button.

The Component Information Dialog Window opens up. Click on the Pins View button. This will bring you to the Pins View dialog window. The Pin Eq value for a jumper component is JMP or JMP#, where all pads with the same # value, (# is any numerical value), are considered shorted together.

When done simply close the Pins View Window and select Component » Save.
