Altium Designer 6.0 allows you to seamlessly move an embedded software design between soft-core processors, hybrid hard-core processors and discrete processors with an FPGA "wrapper".
All processors are wrapped by a Wishbone OpenBUS wrapper which allows peripherals to defined in the FPGA and for these to be used transparently for any type of processor.
