You can copy and paste from Excel (or any other Windows clipboard source) directly onto a schematic sheet. This gives you the ability to open a spreadsheet, select and copy a region and then paste the information into a schematic sheet. All layout and formatting applied to the spreadsheet is retained, greatly improving the quality of documentation generated from the system.
